Hyung joo Noh is a senior advisor at Yoon & Yang LLC, and his main practice area is biohealth.
Mr. Noh currently serves as the Director of the Beauty for Life Center in Abu Dhabi. He has formed close networks through joint implementation of national healthcare initiatives, such as the lymphedema treatment program, with the Department of Health (DOH) of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and plays a key role in the UAE registration of Korean pharmaceuticals, medical devices, cosmetics, etc.

Based on his alumni network from Seoul National University College of Medicine and ties with Asan Medical Center in Seoul, Mr. Noh communicates with such key opinion leaders as senior executivies from Korea’s top-five university hospitals, and also provides highly sophisticated medical expertise to corporate clients with respect to the listing of new drugs, medical devices, and cosmetics by the Specialized Review Committee of the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service (HIRA) as well as approvals by hospital drug committees. Furthermore, in line with growing interest in “K-Bio” in the Middle East and surging demand for local permits & licensing and joint venture advisory services, he serves as an exclusive “gateway” for Middle Eastern regulatory compliance and market entry by providing guidance on the DOH’s substantive regulatory and drug pricing issues.

Henceforward, he is set to provide specialized advisory services with respect to various biohealth sector issues, namely, healthcare regulation and operations, medical dispute resolution, hospital management and strategy, domestic insurance coverage strategy, global healthcare business, overseas regulatory response (i.e., Middle East), and attracting investment from Middle Eastern sovereign wealth funds into Korean bio companies.
